2020-2021 PNW Debate

Pacific Northwest debate is a format of evidence-based, policy-oriented, team debate designed to develop critical thinking and practical communication skills.

The format was created in 2019 by the University of Oregon, Western Washington University, and the University of Puget Sound with an eye to improving the quality of the debate experience and the academic and intellectual value of participation.

In addition to the founding programs, new participating programs in 2020-2021 include Gonzaga, ASU, Minnesota, Kentucky, and George Washington, and the list is growing.
